Have you ever tried a 4.10 gear?

Yes, but it has been a while. They seemed to last a little better, but I can't put a number on it (combo was a little different). Car is quicker and more consistent with 4.30s.

I pull them before they blow up (usually), they start talking on the return road. I will pull them and find cracked teeth. Yukon, Richmond, US gear have all failed, shock proof gear lube seams to help some. I am done feeding it. [/quote]

My gears are Richmond and have been "talking" since day one so maybe you`re just a "bit" over reactive in changing em out since they really didn`t fail did they. So to say they last this many passes isn`t really the case is it..........JBody, I used to live at LACR and was "racing" on a monthly basis w/THESE weak ass gears so whatever on the "once a year" deal.............too funny.......
