Phil Saran enthusiast P Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 396 California, USA	Not a 1/2 ton, but I tow with a 2004 Ford F350 diesel, 4dr, 4x4,long bed, 4:10 gears. Maybe a bit overkill for what I tow, but it was a good price when I bought it 1/2006. 18 ft open full steel bed car trailer with a 74 Duster that weights about 3400 with me in it. Gets around 15 mpg towing that. Also tow a 25 ft travel trailer that weights about 7500 loaded, gets 9 to 13 depending on how many 6 degree hills I climb on a trip. Phil Saran Parker, Colorado
