I wasn't up at 1:55 AM stewing, or I would have replied with this response then.
Even with my 'limited knowledge' and 'delusion', I can state and not 'insinuate', with certainty, that cannister decals have been reproduced for close to three decades, and I know for a fact that you havent been doing those decals that long.
Gary King started it in 1988 after I supplied him with the source of the original cannister manufacturer and provided him with a source for the sleeves.
He had his own decal reproduced.
There have been at least 4 other variations of the cannisters reproduced, the solid one that is no longer on the market, the Iowa one, the Pa one also no longer on the market ( closest to original ), the one with the funky long white valve from NY.
I have seen most of them and some of the variations still turn up today at flea markets and on internet sales sites.
I know at least three of those vendors did their own decals.

I stated "most if not all of the repro bottle decals"..nowhere did I state "current repro decals".
