The 1964 to 1969 Dodge and Plymouth B bodys have the shifter pad in the same place, not so 1970 and up I belive work scope My message is you may end up with a problem finding a shifter that will work for ou the way you expect it to work I'm doing similar as you, using a later model 833 O.D. out of a van or pick up with that OEM shifter in a 1966 Dodge Coronet Deluxe realcrazy I need to change the K member fronm a slant six to a V8 and get the tranny crossmember , clutch linkage, shifter and so on figure out. Hopefully it will be running this year luck
