I'm old school.. when I think of a street race, I think of hopping in my car (daily driver) and hitting the old airport road on Friday or Saturday night and you never ever saw wheelie bars or parachutes on any of the cars..

In fact the most prep I can remember was opening the caps on the exhaust system.. ala American Graffiti..

IMO (humble opinion) my list classifies a "Street Car".. to add wheelie bars or parachutes would be a racing type car that is driven on the street..

And most of those cars back then would get there butt handed to them by newer cars with just a few bolt ons.

Wheelie bars and parachutes on the street don't make a race car, any more than you driving your car on the track does.

Those are SAFETY items.
