Well the BB is about to installed the 72 Cuda. It was originally a SB car so I need some recommendations on radiator, fan etc. It is a -1 headed BB so I think I need something substantial. I plan to run a mechanical water pump but am open to recommendations you have had success with. This a street driven car located in Florida. Thanks in advance!

Stock radiator or stock replacement with higher density fin count and 4 row. Or aluminum radiator that is 100% bolt in stock replacement. A stock fan shroud will bolt to that. You can run a 18" fan and hayden HD thermostatic fan clutch (MP Viscous Fan kit is discontinued). Also run a Edelbrock or similar high quality aftermarket water pump.

Hopefully your block was thoroughly cleaned and picked free of debris and sediment.

Since you are in Florida run 25% antifreeze. That cools better than 50%. Or better run distilled water and radiator additive like Justice Brothers Super Cooler #22p or equivalent coolant additive with rust prohibitor and electrolysis resistance.

For 500-600 hp, that will give you consistent cooling performance on the street, easiest excellent sealing fan shroud and radiator to yoke, and not tax your electrical system. Adding high density foam between your radiator and radiator support and between your shroud and radiator to make a perfect seal will help some for little effort.
