I ain't a cam guy so no relevent info but it very well may be a better deal than the OE cam. I would degree it and advance it 4 deg which will built cyl psi down lower. Anytime you alter cyl psi you need to recurve the dist for a spot on tune & with a heavy truck/cube limited eng you would want it sharply tuned. Since you ain't getting any love on this Q Here's a BTT for ya for the cam guys that know more on this. The eddy 1406 would be a good carb and you need the strip kit
