I would find out exactly what bore-diameter you have now and go one size smaller. Going from 1.125" to 7/8" is way too much of a step and most likely won't work if you have a proper manual brakepedal ratio in the car.
If you don't have a residual valve in the rear brake-line I would get one as well.
So try a 1 inch master or a size between 1 and 1.125. I do have a pedal from a manual brake car.
Why the residual valve in this app?
