I did state the flywheel is new.
The clutch fork is installed properly.
I do not think this B&B style pressure plate has much firmness to it at all.
Before I restored the car I had a 23 spline transmission in there and had a local clutch shop beef up the pressure plate springs. That was a stiff clutch pedal and comparatively this one is whimpy.
Maybe it needs more break in time since the car still has less than 200 miles on it?
