Clutches do need to be broken in.

The Number One reason a clutch won't grab is the throwout bearing holding it a little bit open.

I have a feeling that if God Almighty designed and built a clutch package, somebody on this board would say he didn't like it!

Yes, the original post said the flywheel was new.I went back and had to read it three times to notice it. Maybe that's because it was right in front of my nose?
