This is just sad, terrible news I tried to post 3 times and just can not come up with words to express my sincere condolences to all of Dan's family and friends.
I had the pleasure of working with Dan on a professional level. Our conversations were always entertaining and you could tell his passion and love of his work.
The racing community has certainly lost a great person. God speed Dan
