someone said that lowes or menards have a paint stirrer that is a 5/16" hex & just cut off the end. That might be an opportunity to take care of this ASAP cuz those hexes are hard to come by. Another option would be to take a used intergear/shaft & grind the teeth off then use a speed handle with a screwdriver bit. the teeth are surprisingly soft & came off in minutes on a bench grinder. You might get the timing marks on the dampener slit at TDC #6 compression & prime it at that point then back up the crank CCW 3/4 of a turn (to #8 TDC firing) so both heads get preoiled
