Initially I had 2.5" head pipes, UltraFlows and 2.25" tails. Way too loud. You couldn't hear someone next to you speak. Added an h-pipe and it was much quiter. Sounded like the old muscle cars. I changed headers and also changed to an x-pipe. Even quiter than the H, but definitely changed the tone. I like the latest setup best. I do have a video of this too if you want to hear it. I'll bet you will need a crossover or multiple muffs to make it tolerable.
