A few things I have picked up.
1. 413 and stage 1 426 intakes have the smaller primaries.
2. Stage 11 intakes have the larger primaries to accept the 3705 carburetors.
3. The stage 111 intake has the larger primaries and where the plenum box intersects with the crossover it does it with a slope or 45* angle rather than the 90* angle of the earlier intakes.
4. Carbs that were installed on the factory cars did not have the numbers stamped. The stamped carbs are over the counter. The 3447 have smaller primaries. 3705 primaries and secondaries are the same size.




Danny,I have to disagree with you on the carb number stampings at least the 3447.My 3447's are original O.E.M. installed,stamped and dated C1 and C3.Any O.E.M. 3705 I have had were not.




I wanted to disagree too but afraid of starting a dispute. The '63 max wedge I had, came with stamped carbs too.
