Your looking to hard there Vern, unless your planning on stepping way up in class, the retention blanket doesnt have to be SFI, it just has to be NHRA approved, I ran one for about 3 years since the Salt Lake City track required it on any car faster than 10.99, there are several people who will make one fairly resonable. I had a Russler brand the bottom was ok, fit well the straps were kinda chincy, thats been well discussed on here, but a custom made one for fit was a little under $200, I ruined mine on a very rough track, right after I mover here, Marion County up in Ohio will make you hit the brakes a little hard in the shutdown area, anyway I scrapped the bottom on mine.NHRA has a list of ones that are accepted, they just got a little cash from those guys, SFI would have cost them more for sure
