OK... I found it a bit strange that the pin was out a 1/4" or so... when I've blown rods the pin has always been in tact and in the proper location but like you said the wall in that area was good... what about the opposite side... like it slid one way then busted out the wall and kicked it back hard enough to knock the clips out... just trying to think of the problem
