I attended the car show in West Palm Beach, FL on Sunday September 15, 2013.
I met a man who told me he originally worked on the FRAM air filters for Chrysler.

He has reproduced two filters so far and is working on a third.
He was selling part number 2658856 round filter and part number 2946186 oval filter.
I spoke to him at length. I even went to my 1970 `cuda340, retrieved my original air filter, and we discussed for a while. Looks like he will be making the FRAM 305 filter next.

I just thought that I would share with you guys. Maybe the people that have knowledge of original and NOS air filters, can comment on this product.
