I'm not really surprised, the 13 inch rotor with a big caliper is a tight fit into a 17 inch wheel.

My Viper kits were only qualified on Mustang rims. The hub nose was designed to Ford specs so the Mustang rim would be a bolt on. Even then, some of the Ford Racing 17 inch rims didn't clear so my instructions listed the wheel part number that did fit properly.
