i find it incredibly hard to believe every HP car in 70 with a 22" Rad came with a shroud from the various assembly lines. Regardless of what the FSM dictates. There's the FSM and then the real world..

my 3 70 V codes had 22" rads and NO SHROUDS..

I have always wondered why the side brackets on a C Body 22" rad are so different than the ones on A, B, and E Body rads. They do not even have provision for the small brackets that are all on A,B, and E, body 22" rads that are used to help attach the shroud to the rad. So, I would think that Dan is correct when he says that none of his 22" rad cars came with shrouds, there is no way to attach them to the rad. All 70 and 71 440+6 C Body cars came only with 22" rads, the other motors on a C body that used 22" rads would not use a shroud either. I bet there is no a 22" shroud listed in the parts book for any C Body.

none of the 22 radiators have any provision for a shroud.. so not sure how one would be attached.. the 330 shroud i had mounted like any other shroud.. parts book list no shroud mounting brackets or hardware either.. very odd for sure.. never seen a 330 shroud still in a car
..they exist but what did they come in i sure can't say...
