I thought the same thing, but I double checked the pistons with a mic and the cylinders with a bore gauge. I actually had to order 1 piston. One was damaged when I took it out of the box, so I have an extra to play with! I ordered the same part # so I'm sure they are 0.040 pistons. That is also what I spec'd to Indy Cyl when I ordered the block from them. I'm positive about the clearance there. To me, the noise doesn't change at all cold or hot. But, it doesn't seem to hurt either, engine runs good. I just hate the noise. It sounds like something is coming apart! I'm going to try and upload a vid to U-Tube later. Thanks, Jeff
