Cast aluminum pistons will break and disentigrate (SP?) when coming in contact with any foriegn parts, small nuts, washers or spark plug tips or any other hard parts from any source, even detonation Forged pistons will not disentigrate, they will melt and get beat up but they won't end up in the oil pand in little bittie pieces I like and use forged piston on any build I can, I have sent customers away that wanted me to use the hypertutics pistons in there motors instead of forged ones Egge parts are way expensive and not real good quality, I think they buy from the cheapeast supplier
