I have done it 3 times now with pre bent gas tank lines from Fine lines. It is really easy with pre bent lines and all my Fine Line stuff fit perfect including a complete set of brake lines I got from them.

Yes it cost more, like 100 bucks per line. But they do fit right and that makes it worth it to me and I have bent a lot tubing in my business, mainly copper tubing but still.

Took my vapor separator out also and steam cleaned it clean. Then used my bead blaster to clean it the rest of the way. I like to leave the old hose on during clean up and paint, protects the nipples and helps keep glass beads and water from getting in there.

I put a 3 peice hemi, 440/6 set of 3 fuel lines under my car which has a 3/8 suction line with a 1/4" return line.

I don't care for stainless lines, too hard to seal and work with, imo. So I painted my new lines before putting them in place, I figured WTH. Used Eastwood Tank Tone to do the vapor separator and all the factory original line clamps all got painted after being bead blasted after steam cleaning. Took me a couple days.
Ready to go back under the car, it'll get all new rubber and clamps.

Good luck on your car and decision.

Took lot's of pictures so I knew where everything went.
