Just so you know... NEVER did the MP or stock AMC
lifter have the EDM hole to feed the roller face...
the AMC lifter had the hole to oil the PR... so
if you have the bottom EDM hole it was put in a lifter
afterwards.... the EDM process didnt exists back when
AMC was around... so if its a AMC type lifter its
a aftermarket lifter that has the PR holing hole and
had the EDM hole added(or they made a new lifter that
has the PR hole and EDM hole)

MOST guys call the push rod hole type of lifter a
AMC lifter(which in all rights was) for the mopar
family engines





Yeah, I know none of the stock lifters came with the EDM hole.

My point is that I have read that at least some of the BB mopar lifters that have EDM holes are AMC lifters,(taller cup height, meaning a shorter pushrod is needed) due to the height of the oil band, in order to oil the EDM hole.

What I didnt know was that these same lifters would push rod oil.
