Update on the motor build. Found out day before yesterday that two of the bores have a rust spot that may not be taken out by honing. Kinda disappointing in that the motor had TRW forged pistons and I was planning on re-using them. A light hone didn't affect either bore so we are looking at several options.

At this point the block can be bored to .040. It's at .030 now. there's no way to know of boring to .040 will take care of the rust spots. Don't know how deep they are in the metal. If we bore to .040 and we're successfull we can order a hyperutecnic piston to fill the holes. there are not many piston options available for the 383.

The second option would be to sleeve the two bores and take them to .030 and re-using the TRWs. Both options cost basicly the same.
