It crossed my mind that if going to 3/4 throttle from minimal throttle at 1500 rpm requires that much more fuel that maybe the fuel pump is suspect but I'm not convinced. the answer is in the above (quoted) symtoms somewhere. The other known good carb worked flawlessly when you tried it right? I'm thinking we've walked right past the problem.
