So you just want a "5-speed" or would you consider one of Jamie's OD gear sets for a 4-speed case
I have done a few of these conversions and they are very nice

As for Jamie's 5 speed I think it's worth the money for ease of use and superior engineering If I need a release bearing or a pilot bearing I don't have to order one special from Passon(although thats who I deal with anyway)I can get one from many other sources.
