ahy master A Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 7,664 IN	I went the solid FT route. I've got about 10k miles on an aggressive MM lobe cam without difficulty. I like the benefits of roller but don't care for the bronze gear wear. I understand the collar helps, a standard volume oil pump helps (hope you don't need high volume for hot idle OP on the street), running light oil helps. Still its a wear item while the steel gear is reliably good for the life of the engine and isn't bothered by a high volume pump. Plus roller is expensive.
