Well I personally would never build wheelie bars with anything other than round CM tubing, but that is me. The bars Doug has are popular in Stock and a lot of SS cars. they dont really control anything but they do keep them off the bumper which in these moderately HP applications is what they are after. They need the pitch rotation to plant the tire and keep it there, so this style bar is very popular with some of those guys. They are not stiff enough to stop anything or give any control over what is going on but they will keep ya off the bumper in a moderately powered car, hopefully
