Is 2.5" duels just as good as 3" single?



cross sectional area of a 3" single is about the same as dual 2 1/4" pipe. one advantage of a 3" single over a 2.5" dual is only having 60% of the steel in the pipe, so it'll be lighter.

another thing with magnum manifolds, IIRC they interfere with the PS box.

one thing that may help town mileage and fun factor would be a higher stall converter (like a high stall slant6 converter)

what would work real well would be 2.94-3.23 gears and an A833OD. the horrible town mileage is due to trying to get 3800-4000 lbs moving with a 2.24 rear end.
