This was probably the most successful car Steve and Weldon ever raced. I'll be honest I really can't quite place it chronologically but I think it was between the 64 Max Wedge and the 66 Street Hemi.

It had a Jenkins engine and was very successful in Division 4 and 5 points races. I was away at the time but I remember a National Dragster story about the crowd going nuts when they beat the local dominant Super Stock (Gene Kidder?) car at a race in Omaha.

This is the better of only two shots I have of it. This car was traded for cash and a 64 Street 426 Savoy to a guy in Minnesota. I saw the car a couple of times later (it still had the baby blue roof stripes) at Indy but don’t know what happened to it since then.
