How strong are the blocks.d.5.7-6.1 compared to 400-440?m
with stronger internals would it "live"longer?

The 6.1 with forged lower end, billet caps and arp fasteners can handle in the neighbor hood of 1100 fwhp, then head sealing issues are supposed to show up. I would say a 5.7 wouldnt be all that far behind, but not exactly sure. My best guess would be a 6.1 could probably safely make near 300 more hp than a B/RB. This is just based on what I've heard from others expirience. We shal see when my 6.1 is finished.

My N/A single four barrel carb. 400 block pump gas stroker made 627 HP and 710 Ft Lbs on Oregon pump gas in Klamath Falls on a stingy DTS engine dyno with off the shelf parts Better parts make more power, pick your poison
