A bit off the beaten path....

I have a '68 charger with power drum brakes that was missing all its components when I found it. I got all the original parts but I did not use the spacer being discussed. I have had some strange issues with my brakes since building it and have got them to work pretty good but not perfect.

Question what would be side affect(s) of a power drum brake car that did not have said spacer installed?

I have never seen this part before so if I were to try and find one or fabricate one, how should I go about it?

Thanks!

PM member Chargervic; he just took off the drum brake booster with the spacer off his '68 charger as he's doing a disc swap. Without the spacer, I'd imagine you may not have enough adjustment in the rod pushing the master cyl piston in which could cause travel issues, difficuly bleeding, etc.
