Picked this up a few weeks ago. 70 coronet R/T numbers matching V code 440 6 pack plum crazy auto. The paint and flares (yuck) were done in the early to mid 70s. I could have predicted the "leave it alone" comments! Great car (I have an affinity to '70 V code coronets with N96 hoods!) but gawd those flares are hideous!

Do you have a fender tag? ...just curious as to options, where/when it was built, etc.

How were those flares put on? any chance of saving the quarters?
