is money a concern?

Edlebrock has been a good head all these years...if 600 hp is all you want to make, do the RPM's fully ported and opened to max wedge port...have them flowed and match a cam to it...use their Victor intake and..600+ ponies depending on compression and parts fitment..

a little sidebar to those Edlebrock RPM's...a friend of mine wanted to build up a 455 Olds for his Cutlass..his goal was just a street engine and occasional trips down the track..he had already bought a Mondello cam that was considered hot for a hydraulic...forgot the lift numbers...the builder asked him how many ponies...my friend answers 450-500hp...no problem..

Edlebrock RPM's out of the box, .030 over with 9.5-1 compression, Ebrocks 2 plane intake...497hp on the dyno with a crappy carb...pump gas friendly..

just gave you that example on stock untouched Edlebrock RPM's....
