hey our cars are pretty close in engine and performance. have any pics of your dart. But here is the lowdown on my junk. all steel 1973 dodge dart. guessing 3500 pounds race ready
1973 440 0.030 over with wisco flat tops.pistons 0.006 down. stock stroke forged crank eagle rods felpro 8519 head gaskets bowl ported Indy EZ heads crane gold 1.6 roller rockers manton push rods comp cams solid roller 0.264 @ 0.050 and 634 lift with 1.6 rockers mopar m1 tunnel-ram 2 750 cfm carter comp carbs tti 2x3-1/2 headers 727 with dynamic 9.5 converter stall around 4500 8-3/4 4.30 gears 15x8 wheels with M/T et street drag radials this engine should be right at or real close to 11.1.1 compression. i race it with 93 pump gas.so far my best has been a 10.68 at 125 in the 1/4 and 6.88 at 100.8 1/8 mile. my car is a dog off the line. my best 60 foot was only a 1.56. also i was only running 4.10 gears when i ran the 10.68 but blew up my 8-3/4 on the fifth pass that weekend. I have sense then put a set of 4.30 gears and was only running 11.00 flat in the 1/4.that night it was 85 degrees at 11.00 pm.I only got to go to the track one time last year.I have around 7000 in the engine.I would like to make it go faster but just don't have the money right now.been thinking about just selling the car and getting out of racing.OK enough of my You guys have some nice and fast cars on here. mopar65 ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beer.gif)
