VERY good point ...and VERY true.

I wish I could find some more of those 7" Firestone cheater slicks I got at Greenfield Tire in Detroit many years ago. It did not have the "look" of a 10" tire ... but those tires "worked" !

A touch over stock 440 in my 62 ... cast iron mans and Imperial muffs .... 111 mph. And I credit those tires for a big-part of that.
