i think his point was that they all can, and do, blowup. i don't need to thump my chest. i drive a mopar. it has a 727 in it. you'll notice that the front drum isn't there anymore. any moron knows that that is THE Achilles heel of the 727. mine has a billet drum. among other things. it's as reliable as anything else out there. anything can be made reliable if you spend a little on the right things. right? surely you know that?
