Well mine ain't stupid fast but it is a stock block. Haven't had it to the track yet as I'm still waiting on the proper pushrods and thanks to Todd at Competion Wedge I'll be able to fix that soon enough. I expect mid 9's in the crappiest air out of this combo and I don't see a reason why it shouldn't do it.

Stock 360 block, tall filled with a Hughes girdle, torque plate honed and a 1/16 ring pack. W5 small chamber hand ported heads, 2.08/1.60 intake flows over 320 @ .700. 4" crank from BPE, Eagle H beams and Wiseco pistons with a 20cc dish including the valve reliefs. .006 out of the hole with .039 gasket. Crane SS solid roller with 1.6 rockers nets out to .698/.714 lift with the lash, 276/284 duration @.050.

I've done oiling mods that include drilling all the passages to .500 minimum and radiusing all the corners I could get to and blocking the oil to the lifters. A Melling HV pump with a Canton rear sump pan filled with 05W20 synthetic and a .625 ID pickup tube.It has an M1 W5 tunnel ram with 2 750 Demon TR carbs. Currently has Crane Gold rockers on it but thanks to Todd @ Competion Wedge it will soon have Harland Sharps on it. 2" primary header and a 4" collector with turn downs. 4200 TA converter and a low gear 904 with a 4.86 geared 8.75 rear at 2600 pounds with me in it. The combo in my sig is basically the same but with a .672 lift flat tappet with the same duration @ .050 as the roller but with 2.02 valves in the head and a basically stock short block with hyper pistons. Plus it's about 15 years old without a freshening so I don't think the new combo will have any problems getting well into the 9's. Results will be posted.
