Also, I've always been curious how much timing you can take out and not hurt the motor, so this seemed like the perfect opportunity to fish for an answer..
I tried slowing down a friends car with timing... we pulled 6 or 8 degrees and it slowed very little... it tends to burn way to hot in the pipes... dont know what its doing to the exhaust valves and seats
