Might - but "Dangerous" - I doubt - you been hanging around too many attorneys!!!
The engine may lean down some - my experience doing this is you normally have to take the jets up by two and bring the timing back a little and watch your plugs. The advantage to taking out the secondaries is you get the full pump shot at launch versus running partial throttle against a stop
I never had any issue on the pump shot... its getting 2... 1/2 volume shots but takes in alot less air so to me that was a wash
