Made my own on my '73 charger, used 1x3 rectangle tube. Welded from where frame horn for rear meets the cross frame (?) on the chassis to where the front frames meet the torsion bar cross member. My crappy former 18 year old selfs welding skills weren't very good but they made an IMMEDIATE difference. They are not straight, or should say parallel, with the rockers because the frame rail come in at different places but I thought it would make more sense to put a direct link between those frame pieces.

Cost me little to nothing and they DONT hang down at all! you have to look up from the pinch point of the rockers to see them.

Make your own, quick, easy, and cheap. You don't have to cut up the floors like everyone tries to convince you. Its not a roll cage.
