Hi All,

I am installing a set of aftermarket oil pressure, temp, and voltage gauges in a '71 Charger.

What is the proper way to tie the lights for the gauges into the electrical system?

Right now the wire for the light on my tach is just pinched in with a fuse in the fuse block, I know that is not the right way, and I want these gauges to be done correctly.

All advice is appreciated.

Greg

The orange wire is what feed the stock dash and radio lights. I'd tie into that, probably at the radio connection.

They say there are no such thing as a stupid question.
They say there is always the exception that proves the rule.
Don't be the exception.

Not only will it give your gauge lights when your dash lights are on, it will be dimmable.
