trans cooler fitting size?

could anyone tell me off hang the size and degree of the fittings that go to the trans cooler on a 904 trans. I think it's a 37 degree right? I'm going to go to the hardware store and get some new ones mine are crimped and it's not letting my trans cool.

The case is threaded 1/8"-27 NPT and the factory cooler lines are 5/16" flare. The angle of the flare is 45°, the 37° flare is used on AN fittings.

37* = an or jic

What's the best thing to replace those with and where can I find it? I was just going to get a barbed fititng for the hoses I have on there now but I'd prefer hard lines of course. I have tubing benders what should I ask for if I want that. I can flare it with my brake line flare tool I think. Do you think the hardware store would have this stuff? should I just use brake lines for the trans cooler lines or is there something better like fuel lines?

Steel brake lines are best. You won't find any of that kind of stuff at a hardware store. Get everything from a auto parts store.
