Have them on my 12.5 440.Its street driven.Been on it going on 4 years and no problems.I did change the springs retainers and keepers.I run a .588 solid cam and 4 speed.I would have had to change those parts on any head I bought.Rocky

I have a set here in the garage, same changed springs locks etc but also had to have a step on the back of some of the intake valve seats knocked down and had a little bowl work done as well.

I can take pics if you are on the verge of ordering them.

To do over I would have just bought indys or edelbrocks

I have bought a set.

They look nice but I noticed the machine work wasnt perfect. The valves seats where not machined perfectly level. If putting a straight edge on the tips of the valves you could see some missalignment.

I had a friend installed a set and they cracked, the had some problems with the castings not being stress relieved and they were a bit crack prone...but I think it was just a bad batch and they already have taken care of that....

Regardless I like the fact that they look stock from the outside...unlike the edelborcks.

I guess they are a good head for the right application. Just blueprint the machining...

Do a search on here, the topic has been covered to death.
Short answer, generally good for intended purpose as an inexpensive replacement head that looks stock.

I changed the springs, locks and reatiners, but I'm using a different cam and racing. I would buy another set with no problem.

I run a set of them straight out of the box. No problems.

Changed the locks and retainers (10º), on an 11:1 550hp 440. Couldn't be happier.

I got them on my coronet. I changed out retainers and that was it. I have had no issues.
