FWIW...When I lived in Maryland up until the mid 70's,MIR (Budds Creek) would run a few shows that had nitro funny cars and later also ran pro stocks 4 wide.It was wild!!One night it was McCandless,Jenkins,Nicholson and Malcom Durham. Of course back then we didn't have the Armco barriers we have now and you could see everything.Now, I don't really care for it,maybe because the cars are spread out over 2 race tracks,and it's hard to follow.
Nautilus Racing-
We use Superformance gaskets and Turbo Action converters/products.

I personally was having a hard time watching it on tv but was thinking if we had this in Brainerd maybe we wouldnt have to sit in staging for over two hours and we would get more then three passes per day.  I think it it just hard to accept change.

I agree, I am not a fan of this 4 wide thing, they used to have that at Dragway 42 just north of me, and you can see how that worked out.

I like it.  I had rather see the Fuel-Cars run a 1000',than see them take away HP and slow them down. Can anyone really tell the difference between a 1,000' & 1320'just watching? Not a smart remark only a Question  Now what I did not like was the way the Race started  They had a women soft ball game run over on ESPN 1 and put Base-Ball tonight that was to air @ 7:00 on ESPN2 till the soft-ball game was over on ESPN1.

I agree, when the ETs come up for the 1000ft run I have to think a bit. Then again I haven't been watching as many races so maybe I'm still not use to the shorter race for the fuel cars. BTW four wide is just another marketing gimmick. If the track owner makes money it stays, if not it goes. Oh, also I think it su ks.

Another thing I didnt like(ESPN fault) there wasnt any reaction times... till later they posted them Also for you guys that RACE there... do they run 4 wide all the time or is this JUST FOR TV... too my understanding he built the track so if there was a oil down they would move over while cleaning so there wasnt the long delay.... correct me if wrong

I agree it sucks...I did see reaction times and noticed for the most part Pro Stock was WAY off on the tree. IMO it is a gimmick and making a joke of the "sport".....

Half the race of a fuel car is see who can make it down the track (setup, etc), but with 4 cars it doesn't matter if the opponent blows the tires away, there are 2 more to take the win from you.
And although in Pro Stock they all tend to get down the track and that is a little better to watch, I can't watch everything 4 cars are doing at the same time. I watch more than just the finish line and score board...
I heard the word "circus" used a few times; and I agree it is making a circus of drag racing.
