I am just sayin. I forgot they were at Zmax today, and I came in the house excited to watch the drags, then I see bace ball crap was on, and I watched bad boys 2 for a while, then I switched back to ESPN2, and watched 2 rounds of the crap.

Cant do it anymore. I thought Pro stock boycoted and werent gonna race there. I dont see any think "cool" about it IMHO.

I dont like it either... never been there but as a
paying spectator you are out of there in 1/4 of the
time... plus I dont believe you can watch 4 as they
run down the track... hell when I'm at the track I
have a hard time watching 2 at the same time

I'm with you guys as well. Hard to watch. It's a bad idea in my opinion.

I went friday for qualifying and I did enjoy it....but masinly because I wasn't trying to concentrate on RECING (which is about impossible to watch 4 wide)

The draw/mentality I guess is the spectacle, not so much the racing action....Kinda like the Roman colesiem.

ZMAX is without question the nicest facility I have ever seen....and i've been to most of them.

Agreed, Mr.P, watching the nuances of 2 cars in real time is hard enough; watching 4 is impossible. The camera distance is lame, too. In person, the sound might be pretty cool (although harder to distinguish how the individual motors sound going downtrack); but visually, 4-wide just doesn't work for me.

Same here, can't stand to watch the Force show with 4 lanes.

remember nhra tells them where and HOW they race.when the spectaters quit coming to the nhra SHOWS they might change things for the good for all involved.yes i am a nhra member but i don't agree with a lot of things they do.

Raced 4 wide at my home track in Illinois in the mid 60's. Didn't like it then. Don't like it now. BTW, back then only two got a time slip I guess it's all about the noise and 32,000 HP. What the f--- is that??? Also, aint real fond of the new staging lights.

Tuned in to watch qualifing last night and quit after about 10 minutes. Might as well give them red noses and big floppy shoes. 4 wide sucks!!

Almost as bad as the two car draft we're seeing in the restrictor plate races in NASCAR.

I appreciate the little things happening and agree that you cannot possibly see it when four cars are going off at once.
The sounds tell a story as well as things you see and it just gets mashed together in a big unspectacular blob doing it this way.

Trash talk it if you want, but if you have never been take it from some one who has it is awesome to see. I know on tv it's hard to follow but to be there in person is beyond explanation!!

Have it on in the back ground,I only ever watch prostock.It really sucks.I did catch the interview with the track's owner though.He intends to do the same thing in Vegas,said he planned it that way and then bailed on the idea,but with the "success" of this track it is in the works.
