Hey,just wondering if anyone out there has performed a install on a Gear Vendor in a E body,,if so,how much modification was needed to clear the tunnel?,Presently my 'Cuda has a 499/727 combo with a 8 3/4 rear. Thanks in advance for any info offered or supplied.If you happened to have taken pics,please post them here or email them if possible,,thanks again!!

New project---1938 Dodge truck, plan is a 360 with a A500, AC, Calvert rear susp., rack and pinion front with coils.

Ask them yourself in person at Spring Fling this weekend. They will have a booth at the show.

Hey guys,thanks for the info,I've installed this before in my Dodge truck,pretty simple install,,it's the amount of massaging required in my '70 was my concern.I talked to G/V a while back,was told I had to cut out a piece of the floor,and make a patch to clear tunnel,,I planned on having a spare driveshaft shortened in case a problem arises at some point. Hey,Maverick,my email went done yesterday,supposed to up again in a day or so,,sorry.

I've put some good miles on the GV since I made this thread and it's performed flawlessly. Can't image that an e-body would need that much massaging. Remember, you can also lower the unit away from the floorpan with a slight modification to the tranny crossmember...
