So which one(s) will fit in a E-Body and how do you know which is which?
E bodies need a shifter mount on the very rear of the tailshaft. These also have the B body mount on them as well, but the holes for either one may not be tapped depending on which car it originally came on.

The OD 833 will fit and work, but there are NO bolt in Big Block bellhousings to fit. There are ways around that though...........
So no problems with a small block? OD vs. non OD?

64 & 65 trans are easy to spot as they have one mounting pad and have the bolt on ball and trunion end.Rocky
