SO I BUY A CUDA ON EBAY TO PART OUT AND THE VIN ON DASH IS NOT THE SAME AS BODY!THE BODY CODE IS M8B NOT F8B WHICH IS 318 CAR SO WHAT IS A M CODE

The VIN in not on the body in '68, you're looking at the SO# which can be found on the fender tag.

On the core support on drivers side there are M8B196631 So i know those have to be body #s right?

As B5Bee said, that is the sales order number. VIN not on car in '68; it's not on the fendertag, it's not stamped on the body. It only appears on the windshield VIN plate.

You guys are more in the know than i am but i also have a 1968 dart GTS h code car it has the body numbers on the core and cowl!Thats why i looked and as i said the numbers are not the same.

Can't help on the original question but the car has a 1969 'Cuda fender on it. It is the same as a regular fender but it has the lower body stripe. Pretty neat. Just an observation, sorry, Carry on!!
