Here's what I have planned for the 72... After spending the past few days researching different items of interest in attempt to pick the best one I think I've got my plan.

1972 charger... 440, 727. Just purchased 3.55 gears for the rear up from 2.76 (lol). For a cam I'm looking at the comp xtreme energy .507/.510 or the xtreme .525 lift camshaft. Torque converter I'll be looking at around 2800 rpm, fitting the recommendation for the camshaft and as well as the gears I've chosen (looking at summit racing tech). Currently, I've got some dinky 225/70 r14 tires on the car but plan on going to something around 275/60 r15 sitting about 28" tall.

It'll mainly be street driven, little highway driving and the occasional drag race ^_^ Does that setup look like it will mesh together nicely? Any comments are always appreciated.

So figures to be about an approx of 2" of height. Got the gears ordered tonight and just got done disassembling the entire rear-end.

Sounds good,go with the smaller cam,the '72's are pretty heavy and need all that low end torque.
just my .02 worth,if that much!

Sounds pretty good
If the suspension is pretty soft you may want to upgrade the torsion bars. I have the Mopar 0.96" bars and they made a big improvement in the handling.
I just did a search, and don't see the 1.00" and larger Mopar torsion bars listed anywhere? Have they be discontinued?

I got the .96 bars as well, should be good for this. IIRC I've seen larger bars I'll have to check later to verify that.
